The Stewards announce the following disciplinary actions arising from inquiries held at the offices of the Jamaica Racing Commission, 8 Winchester Road, Kingston 10, on Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Jockey ROGER HEWITT who rode XYLOPHONICS STEEL in the seventh (7th) race on Sunday, 10th December, 2023, was suspended for one (1) raceday and fined Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) for the intimidation and interference caused to SELENA TREASURE in the vicinity of the 800 metre point that resulted in the disqualification of XYLOPHONICS STEEL. The suspension will take effect on 03rd February, 2024.
